6th Graders' Haikus for Sunday's Gospel

The 6th graders wrote Haikus for the 6th Sunday of Ordinary Time. Enjoy!

Leprosy stains me,
Will you cleanse me oh Jesus,
Yes, you shall be cleansed.
(Mark B.)

You can make me clean,
I do will it; be made clean,
You are my Savior.
(Sara C.)

He stretched out his hand,
Touched him and said to the man,
You will be made clean.
(Jaylen M.)

You can make me clean,
I do will it, be made clean,
warning him sternly.
(Elliott M.)

You can make me clean,
I do will it, be made clean,
And he was made clean.
(Matthew D.)

You can make me clean,
I do will it, be made clean,
The leper was clean.
(Hannah B.)

Can you make me clean?
A leper came to Jesus,
Jesus made him clean.
(Austin B.)

A leper came down,
I do will it be made clean,
The man went away.
(Peter O.)

You can make me clean,
I do will it, be made clean,
Leprosy was gone.
(Colin C.)

You can make me clean,
I do will it, be made clean,
The leper left him.
(Taylor O.)

Jesus make me clean,
people kept coming to him,
He stretched his hand.
(Zach L.)

You can make me clean,
I do will it, be made clean,
Immediately,
Then the leprosy left him.
Then warning him sternly,
You tell no one anything.
The report spread fast,
The man disobeyed Jesus,
People kept coming.
(Noah S.)

Lepers came to me,
To be made clean forever more,
And their wish came true.
(Lexi M.)

You can make me clean,
I do will it be made clean,
Kept coming to him.
(Mitchell S.)
