When I served in the soup kitchen I went there just for service hours but when I got there I realized how hungry these people were. When I was there I learned to look past all of the bad stuff and see a person just like me. As I was serving food I noticed how polite the people were. One really important technique I used while I was there was teamwork. Teamwork was really important because if one of us messed up it was really likely for all of us to mess up. I also learned that some people are nicer than others, but even if somebody isn’t nice they are still a person.(Elliott M.)
